Well we may have passed the 30 podcast mark but that in no way means were going to take this any more seriously.
If we were I would have remembered that tis week was gamescom and planned ahead to have more episodes and covered more of the gaming news that came out of the event.
As it is I dont think we were faired too badly covering thing s from the news about Arkham city to the price drops of both the Wii & PS3.
More importantly There was last weeks competition – well after all that we could not pick between the top three and will give all of them with a game each at random – that’s just how generous we are
As always links to almost all the topics covered are after the jump.
Also as always we are still taking suggestions for the mid podcast songs. So if you have a suggestion for song to be included in the podcast then put it in the comments of this post or send them too @DrunkenGamer or @D_Gow . They will be put on the short-list and you will be mentioned in the podcast itself when played
Anyway enjoy this episode of the Drinky Talky Thing.
I have to admit that this is absolutely the last thing I expected to be posting this week was this – Welcome to the 10th Episode of the Drinking Talky Thing!!
I knew it would happen but it has only been 10 weeks since we decided to restart the podcast & the episode count at the same time.
But shockingly we have managed to keep recording for 10 weeks and I am now galvanised to continue – we made double figures there is no way this will be anything less that weekly from here on in (even if Gow has to record it solo at some point)
Well without further stalling for layout reasons here is the latest episode of the podcast
WOW! Did I used to record these things on my own & sober?
With Gow away skiing in France & Craig living it up state-side at GDC – I was left completely without a co-host for the first time this year.
There were several people who offered to co-host, and I thank them all for their offers to help. Unfortunately being my last week at Omerta, I had to put in some extra time to get some things wrapped up. This meant a later than normal start to recording.
To everyone that offered I will contact you about co-hosting in the future as I have always thought about including guest hosts in the show.
So despite being shorter than normal and not really having as much randomness as normal – I hope you still enjoy this weeks episode.
Hopefully a final wrap up on the whole Bulletstorm story, RockPaperShotgun managed to get a response from the last of the experts in the original article. While he stands by what he said, that is fine as he firmly believes it – he says he’s in no way against the game as long as its played by the people it was aimed at Bulletstormgate: Weichman Clarifies Position | Rock, Paper, Shotgun
