Episode #46: The return of the TurkeySaladBoy

Well another week another episode of the podcast and boy was it a good one – after months of chasing him to come back and join us, we were finally rejoined by the legendary TurkeySaladBoy.

It is always a good laugh to get Craig involved because he brings such a  different take on gaming, being the only one of us that really still works in the industry. It also gives us a new take on some of our old arguments.

Oh, and the reason the podcast picture this week is actually a video – well part way through the show I messed about with the Just Dance 3: Autodance App and made one of the most epic videos of Gow & Craig you are ever likely to see.

Were all still growing Moustaches for Movember so you want to help us in our good cause then you can donate to us for our madness at http://mobro.co/DrunkenGamer.

Anyway on to the podcast and as always links to almost all the topics covered in tonight’s show are available after the jump.

Also as always we are still taking suggestions for the mid podcast songs. So if you have a suggestion for song to be included in the podcast then put it in the comments of this post or send them too @DrunkenGamer or @D_Gow . They will be put on the short-list and you will be mentioned in the podcast itself when played

Anyway enjoy this episode of the Drinky Talky Thingy.

Also for while now listeners have been asking for a way to buy us a beer and help us get drunk for their amusement, well now we have found a way. We have set up an Amazon wish list full of beer and sugary things that you can send to us (trust us were just as funny hyper as drunk). Anyone that does so can send any message with their beer and we will say it in the show. Amazon.co.uk: Drinky Talky Thing

Episode #41: We really need a soundboard

Oh god bless Google! This is the second image found when searching for Gow

Another week and another podcast is recorded.

Were well into the year now and there is only one overriding fact we have learnt along the way, a soundboard must be sorted out and soon. We tried to add a single sound effect into this weeks cast and well to say it was a failure is selling it short.

However for shits and giggles we decided to Google our names during one of the songs and I am glad we did, the picture for this weeks show is the result of our search for Gow, look at it! It’s epic!

Anyway on to the podcast and as always links to almost all the topics covered in tonight’s show are available after the jump.

Episode #17: The Full Fat Version (aka Paddy Dun Goofed)

Ahh the classic baking soda volcano experiment, can lead to some great pranks if you know how

Well that just goes to prove a point I guess, even after 17 weeks of recording and uploading this podcast is still possible to make some Grade-A beginners mistakes.

With so much going on at the minute I didn’t think to check the MP3 after it was output, unfortunately this time without any reason to do so (beyond being an Adobe product) it only output the first 30 minutes of the recording.

So basically the whole thing was 30 minutes of us bitching about Sony!

However that’s now sorted and here instead is the Full Fat, Complete version of Episode #17 of the Drinky Talky Thing

This has been a bad week for anyone who owns a PS3 or has ever had a Sony Online account – so bad that for the first time this year a whole segment of the show was dedicated to the news about it.

However there is plenty of other news out there and we once again have recorded our thoughts on some of the highlights.

One thing I haven’t said a while, is that we are always interested in your opinions on the show. We may be 17 weeks in but were still looking to improve and change things up where needed.

You can tell us directly in the comments section at the bottom of this post or send them too us via twitter at @D_Gow & @DrunkenGamer

Many enter, Only one can survive
Many enter, Only one can survive

WOW! Did I used to record these things on my own & sober?

With Gow away skiing in France & Craig living it up state-side at GDC – I was left completely without a co-host for the first time this year.

There were several people who offered to co-host, and I thank them all for their offers to help. Unfortunately being my last week at Omerta, I had to put in some extra time to get some things wrapped up. This meant a later than normal start to recording.

To everyone that offered I will contact you about co-hosting in the future as I have always thought about including guest hosts in the show.

So despite being shorter than normal and not really having as much randomness as normal – I hope you still enjoy this weeks episode.

So without further stalling, here it is.

Updates on stories from the last episode

Hopefully a final wrap up on the whole Bulletstorm story, RockPaperShotgun managed to get a response from the last of the experts in the original article.
